My father-in-law has been a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity for many years. He enjoys working with others to help build or restore a home for someone in need. He has willingly given many hours of service each year to help build walls, paint, install windows, or trim out a room. No one has forced him to volunteer, but he has willingly given of his time and talents in this way to help others.
Jesus willingly gave His life on the cross and died for the sins of mankind. No one forced Him to go to the cross and die. He willingly laid down His life and died for the sins of the world. Jesus had the right to lay down His life and the right to take it back up again.
Challenge: It is your choice to accept or reject Jesus as your Lord and Savior. God will not force Himself upon you. Voluntarily give your life to Jesus and make Him the Lord of your life.
